About Me

My photo
Gwenda
I'm a country girl. Grew up on a farm with eight brothers and sisters. My heroes are my parents who have been married almost 67 years. From them I get strength, values and hope. Family, friends, and faith are most important to me...and my dog. I love being outside, I grew up playing in the outdoors, wading creeks, and climbing hills. I still enjoy the same things except now my passion is teaching in the outdoors and helping others learn about the outdoors through stories. I truly love Eastern Kentucky and hope to spread a little of her sunshine to people near and far. I recently completed a storytelling internship under Master Storyteller, Pam Holcomb. I tell stories every chance I get to whomever will listen.
